STOP STRESSING OVER FINANCIAL RECORD KEEPING
As a financial bookkeeping expert for over 20 years, Sophia Taylor helps clients to take the stress out of record-keeping, allowing them to focus on what’s important. She is passionate about using her skills and knowledge to help others in her community. Her career success is the culmination of lessons learned in both her professional and personal journeys. Understanding the technical side of management and record-keeping allows her to provide unmatched services, while her personal experiences guide her in the service of people.
To some, bookkeeping is all about paperwork and numbers. For Sophia, however, it is about people. A financial document is more than a collection of words and numbers. It is a piece of a person’s life representing their career, dreams, and the resources with which they care for their family. Financial documents are a vital part of a person’s life, and Sophia never treats them as anything less.
Born and raised in Jamaica before moving to Queens, New York, Sophia has encountered and worked with diverse groups of people, developing strong communication and team-building skills. Her career began at Colonial Decorative Display Company, where she learned bookkeeping under the guidance of a skilled accountant. She brought these skills to Executive Assistant and Office Manager roles with other companies in the early 2000s, before starting S. Taylor Bookkeeping.
To illustrate her dedication to quality service, many of her early clients still work closely with her nearly two decades later. Sophia is happy to serve her clients and takes pride in serving her community. Her community involvement includes work with first responders and their families, as well as partnerships that provide assistance and cultivate opportunities for all people. (See organizations she’s worked with below.)
Overall, Sophia Taylor is a passionate professional with a compassionate heart who strives to bring the very best to everything she does. She is grateful for the opportunities her career has given her and the bonds she has built with her clients. She looks forward to continued growth and the opportunity to help new clients achieve the best in life.
